What we collect

When you create an account, book a session, or apply to become an instructor, we collect your name, email, phone number, and any notes you choose to share about what you'd like help with. If you complete a payment, Razorpay processes your card/UPI details directly - we never see or store your full payment details, only the transaction result.

Why we collect it

To create and manage your account, schedule and confirm sessions, process payments, send appointment reminders and confirmations, and let your instructor keep session notes for continuity of care.

Who we share it with

We share the minimum necessary data with: Razorpay (payment processing), Stream (video and chat for your sessions), and our email provider (sending confirmations and reminders). We do not sell your data to anyone.

Session notes

Notes your instructor keeps about a session are visible only to that instructor and our admin team for oversight - never to other instructors, and never shared outside EchoSoul.

Your rights

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time from your Account settings, or by contacting us. Deleting your account removes your profile and contact details; appointment and payment records may be retained as required for accounting and legal purposes.

Security

Passwords are hashed, not stored in plain text. Sensitive settings (payment and video credentials) are encrypted at rest.
